The NLOI is the natural point of contact for entrepreneurs and private individuals in the event of damage they suffer by protecting them as much as possible in their most vulnerable moment, even in the event that they had not (yet) realized that. The Nederlands Onderzoeks Instituut NLOI B.V. guides you through the investigations conducted by or on behalf of your insurer(s). That is our core task and we do so from the conviction that your interests as a customer must be at the top. Practice shows that in many cases this form of advocacy is absolutely necessary. On your behalf, as an insured person and as an entrepreneur, we conduct research into the cause of your damage and the circumstances in which it occurred. We also perform derivative work for you, such as the necessary accountability to governments, your customers and your suppliers. NLOI is the only company in the Netherlands that carries out this type of research on behalf of the insured, with their interests in mind. At your request, after determining the cause of the damage, various proven Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methods are used to investigate the root causes of errors or problems that led to your damage. We do this in an interactive way together with the employees in the workplace and management. These analyses almost always lead to improvement proposals. Together with our partners, we also support you in the actual implementation of those proposals in which we have a specific interest in change management. We strongly believe that it should not just be about proposals. Companies actually learn and grow through effective implementation of improvements, structural monitoring and assurance. The result is more profit, greater continuity and committed employees who dare to take responsibility. The chances for another damage are therefore greatly minimized. At the NLOI, a so-called POB permit has been granted by the Ministerie van Veiligheid en Justitie (Ministry of Security and Justice) (POB number 1439) for a private investigation agency. The NLOI investigators have permission from the National Police to conduct investigation work. NLOI adheres to the Privacy Code of Conduct Private Investigation Offices as approved by the Autoriteit Persoonsgegeven (Dutch Data Protection Authority). Managing Director J. Terhenne is a graduate in Lean Management and under the WFT (Financial Supervision Act). |
